Critical Rate

Critical Rate represents the maximum possible #Information Rate transfer over the channel, which is defined as:

$$ \frac{C}{T_C} $$

Where:

  • \(C\) is the Channel Capacity#
  • \(T_C\) indicates the time interval that the channel could be used
